BARK RIVER -- Thanks to your votes and thousands of others, the Augie Fudala Barn in Bark River is one of five nationwide historic barn winners in the Campbell Soup Company's "Help Grow Your Soup" program.

Ten barns were nominated.

The century old barn will be preserved this year by Campbell and the local FFA chapters in Stephenson and Coleman.

Family members, who are out of state, told us they're excited to win and grateful for everyone's support.

John Jorasz, who has farmed Fudala land for 20 years, hopes it'll put the U.P. on the map.

It's still unsure at this point when work on the barn will take place, but FFA officials say they plan to repaint the barn and fix up the exterior.
