MARQUETTE COUNTY -- As vaccinations for H1N1 continue to be distributed, some good news comes from the Marquette County Health Department.

They report that two upcoming clinics for the H1N1 shots will be open to the general public.

These are the clinics scheduled for the Superior Dome on December 16 and at St. Joseph's Church in Ishpeming on December 22.

They encourage interested people to call and make an appointment to avoid long lines and wait times.  To make your appointment, call the flu hot line at (906) 475-1175.

To date, more than 9,000 Marquette County residents have been vaccinated.
