MediRide EMS is giving back to others this season.
MARQUETTE -- Their business is based on saving lives, but this year, MediRide EMS in Marquette is also trying to save Christmas for two families in need.
They need your help though to make it happen.
MediRide EMS has set up a website where you can nominate a needy family that won't a have a very merry Christmas.
A drawing will be held on December 21 from all the nominees, and the two winning families will be provided with a full Christmas dinner and $500 worth of toys.
"I know right now a lot of people are without a job; it's hard to find work," said MediRide EMS Executive Director Dave Guizzetti. "It's hard for me to think of some kids having to wake up on Christmas morning and have nothing under the tree."
The stories of each family nominated will be listed on the website, but the names will be removed. The families that don't win the drawing may still be eligible to receive some gifts.
