MARQUETTE -- It was not your typical swearing in ceremony for the newest recruits of the U.S. Army Saturday night in Marquette.

Over 20 soldiers took the oath, pledging to support and defend the U.S. Constitution, while on the ice at Lakeview Arena.

The special ceremony was held between the first and second periods during the Marquette Rangers game against Janesville.  It was all apart of Army Night at the game, sponsored by the U.S. Army and the N.M.U. ROTC.
