In the past, the ski swap has raised $5,000 to $13,000.

MARQUETTE -- The annual Marquette Mountain Ski Swap takes place Saturday, and people dropped off their used equipment and accessories Friday afternoon.

The fund-raiser supports the Marquette Mountain Racing Team, which is made up of 130 kids.

In the past, the ski swap has raised $5,000 to $13,000.

Five ski shops will be on hand with new merchandise, and the number of used skis should help people find a good deal.

"There's a lot of good merchandise here, from small skis to big skis," explained Todd King of Down Wind Sports.  "So, age range, they're going to fit three to four year olds on up to adult race league."

The sale starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. at Marquette Mountain.
