Raising money to provide fire wood and heat assistance.

HOUGHTON -- Four local musical acts rocked the Rozsa Center Thursday night at the second annual "Turn on the Heat" benefit concert.

The event was sponsored by Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly and St. Vincent De Paul.

The concert was the culmination of a two-month long fund-raising project to provide the elderly with fire wood and heat assistance.

They've raised $16,000 so far and expect more donations from several local organizations.
