Waves from storm playground for some

MARQUETTE -- About 20 surfers put on their wetsuits, grabbed their boards, and jumped in Lake Superior to take advantage of the first storm of the fall season.

Weather conditions at Presque Isle in Marquette made for great surfing.  Waves were topping out at 15 feet, which gave surfers a long ride.

The wind was gusting at about 60 miles per hour.

Because of the size of the waves, surfers would walk along the road to get to the waves instead of paddling out.

Surfers said they'd be out there for awhile because the waves are only getting bigger.

Check out the user submitted videos on YooperTube of surfers, waves and surf from Monday's storm.  Don't forget, we want to see your videos when weather happens.
