MARQUETTE -- A favorite restaurant in Marquette is set to open a new location in the next few months.

Jimmy Johns Gourmet Sandwich shop will be opening a new location in the former Aarons store on US-41 in Marquette Township.  The new location will be different from the Marquette store by offering a drive-thru.

Owners say business has been booming in the downtown location and a new store is the next logical step.

"We're expanding our business in the westerly direction because that's the way that the business corridor seems to be growing.  We do have further expansion plans in the future, but this is the first step of our expansion to the west," said Jimmy Johns owner, Chris Irish.

The new store is set to open by late November.
