An fire early Wednesday morning has destroyed part of a Vulcan Mill.

VULCAN -- A fire early Wednesday morning has destroyed part of a Vulcan Mill.

Two outbuildings of the Sturgeon Millwork and Lumber Company are reported to be a complete loss after a fire broke out at around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters from the Norway Police Department responded to the scene, but were unable to save the buildings which were being used to store dry wood.

No one was injured in the fire, however, damage is estimated to be around $100,000.

The cause of the blaze hasn't been determined.

The state fire marshal has been called in to investigate.
