Despite these hard times, MGH is now hiring.
MARQUETTE -- Marquette General Hospital reports that it recently filled more than 60 open positions. Seven of those were new jobs, 48 were replacements.
After undergoing some restructuring a couple of years ago, the hospital now says its staff has stabilized at nearly 2,600 employees.
Further, MGH officials say they currently have 61 jobs that are open.
"Marquette General has available a myriad of positions from very professional positions to technical positions as well as service-related positions, so it's a full gamut, a full spectrum of opportunities in the system," said Dan Derosia with MGH Human Resources.
Something else that MGH is proud of: its turnover rate. For the first quarter of last year, it was less than one percent.
For hospitals nationwide, it was nearly 2.5 percent.
