MARQUETTE -- Starting in June, you'll need a passport if you're traveling by land or sea to Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda.

The Marquette County Clerk's Office is trying to help out with special Saturday hours. This Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon, you can stop by the Clerk's Office in both Marquette and Ishpeming and apply for a passport.

The clerk strongly suggests that if you're traveling in the next six months, then you should get a passport.
