Penguins were spotted on shore in south Marquette
MARQUETTE -- There has been a rather strange sighting on the frozen shoreline of Lake Superior off Marquette.
Penguins were perched on the ice just behind the Welcome Center along US-41 in South Marquette.
We all know this has been a tough winter, but really?
The seven tuxedo-clad birds stood stiffly in the brisk wind. They never moved. That's because they're cardboard cut-outs.
Nobody knows who put them there, but they were sure to turn a few heads.
