NMU performance starts Tuesday night.

MARQUETTE -- A classic fairy tale is coming to life at the Forest Roberts Theatre at Northern Michigan University this week.

Rogers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" starts Tuesday night and continues through Saturday.

"It's a retelling of the classic," says Randi Chandler, who plays Cinderella.  "But the director, Shelly Russel, has a few tricks up her sleeve."

The story may be identified as a children's fairy tale, but that can be a little misleading.  "It does have a a little comedy there for adults," explains Ben Filopowicz, who plays the king.

You can get tickets for the show at the NMU box office or by calling (906) 227-2082.
