Escanaba man was arrested Wednesday night due to suspected drug use and a warrant.

ESCANABA -- An Escanaba man remains lodged in the Delta County Jail on drug charges.

Wednesday night, the Delta County Sheriff's Department arrested 36-year-old Steve Wilcox on an outstanding warrant and suspected drug use.

Thursday, Wilcox was charged with possession of marijuana.  However, authorities recovered other substances and drug paraphernalia from Wilcox's room.

He could face more drug charges, pending the results of lab tests.

His bond was set at $2,000.

Wilcox's preliminary hearing will be scheduled within two weeks.
