Baby boy at OSF St. Francis
ESCANABA -- The first baby of 2009 has arrived in the Upper Peninsula.
The 7 lb. 8 oz. boy was born Thursday at 5:03 a.m. at OSF Saint Francis Hospital.
The son of Ben and Ashley Harris of Escanaba, they have named their boy Hunter Thomas.
Ben Harris said that Ashley and Hunter are doing fine and their daughter, who is 2 1/2, is very excited to meet her new baby brother.
Congratulations to Ben and Ashley Harris of Escanaba on being the parents of the first baby born in the U.P. in 2009.
