Break in suspect remains in jail

L'ANSE -- A L'Anse man remains in Baraga County jail following his arraignment for breaking into the Pamida pharmacy.

Twenty-six-year-old Michael John Uren faces three felony counts for allegedly stealing prescription drugs from the downtown pharmacy, which was Village Drugs.

Uren is charged with possession of a controlled substance, narcotics, breaking and entering with intent, and larceny in a building.

He's being held on a $100,000 cash bond.

Uren will be back in court December 30 for a preliminary hearing.
