IRON MOUNTAIN -- It's a snowy day and roads are slick out there.  But it wasn't weather, rather forgetting to stop at a flashing red light, that caused a crash Monday morning in Iron Mountain.

Two vehicles collided at Carpenter Avenue and H Street around 6 a.m. Monday morning.

Iron Mountain Police say a vehicle driven by a 65-year-old Norway man struck a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old Iron Mountain man.

The 65-year-old Norway man had to be extricated from the vehicle.  He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

He was also ticketed for disregarding a flashing red light.
