Cub Scouts fight the cold for their local food pantry.

MUNISING -- Despite the snow and cold Sunday morning, 15 Cub Scouts from Munising were out collecting canned goods for their St. Vincent De Paul food pantry.

Steven Deshown and Jason Cornish are from Pack 332 and they were going door-to-door looking for donations.

Scout masters and parents were driving the kids around Munising.  After the collection, they brought in the food and had a hot dog lunch.

Last year the Scouts collected some 400 pounds of food.
