He pled not guilty to abuse of toddler
IRON MOUNTAIN -- An Iron Mountain man pled not guilty Monday afternoon to first degree criminal sexual conduct with a toddler he was babysitting five months ago.
Eighteen-year-old Johnathan Vyvyan is charged with abusing a 22-month-old girl in Kingsford in May.
The baby's parents called the police after a doctor's check-up revealed that the baby had contracted a sexually transmitted disease. Police say that Vyvyan, who babysat the alleged victim several times, has the same STD.
A pretrial conference has been scheduled for December 1.
