L'ANSE -- The L'Anse woman accused of breaking into her elderly neighbor's home and stealing roughly $4,000 made a plea agreement with the Baraga County prosecutor Friday.

Thirty-six-year-old Michelle Grondin was accused of four felonies related to breaking into Zenovia Vanabel's home in May and Great Lake Specialized Trucking last spring.

She pled guilty to two felonies--first degree home invasion and breaking and entering with intent.

Armed robbery and attempted break-in charges were dropped.  A habitual offender status was also attached to the agreement, which means she could face 30 years in prison.
