I just returned from the service center at Fox Motors in Negaunee. And besides finding out just how little I know about cars, mechanic Doug Young told me all about the engine light on a car.
He says when the light appears, it could be a lot of things. And the best way to tell the severity, is bringing it in to a garage.
But what if the light is blinking? And what about checking it out on your own? I'll have another update this afternoon.

As we get closer to winter, it's going to be inevitable--car problems. Today, I'm going to look into what to do when your engine light comes on. Are there certain things you can do yourself to take care of the problem, or is it time to take it in to a mechanic?
I'll talk with someone from Fox Motors in Negaunee.
Check back this afternoon for an update.
