Man charged with break-in faces plea deal

HOUGHTON -- A plea agreement may be in store for the man who allegedly broke into Harter's Party Store in Calumet and then fled from police.

Twenty-two-year-old Jaymez Riggins from the State of Washington waived his two felony counts of fleeing and eluding police and unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle up to Houghton County Circuit Court.

If Riggins signs the plea agreement his two counts of malicious destruction of a building and driving while intoxicated will be dismissed.
