MARQUETTE COUNTY -- The Marquette County Sheriff's Department located two lost hikers on Wednesday evening.

The sheriff's department received a 911 call around 7:30 p.m. from the hikers, 19-year-old Steven Claucherty and 18-year-old Melinda Fitaian. They stated that they were hiking the Hogsback Mountain area in Marquette County and got lost after it had become dark.

After an hour-and-a-half search, authorities were able to locate the lost hikers who were uninjured.
