POLL - GOP's Pledge to America
Republican leaders are trying to show angry Americans they're listening by rolling out their "Pledge to America."
In this 21-page campaign document, the GOP says it'll put people back to work by cutting taxes and cutting spending. The party promises to repeal the Health Care Reform Law and end President Obama's Economic Stimulus Program.
Democrats say the pledge is a return to failed policies.
Polls show voters are unhappy with Congress and many other elected officials. The surveys indicate the Republicans have a chance of winning control of the House in the November elections and possibly the Senate as well, and the GOP is hoping to ride voter discontent to a majority in Congress this fall.
