FELCH -- Some women in Dickinson County's Zion Lutheran Church in Felch have taken their hobby of quilting to the next step.

The Zion Lutheran Quilters meet once a week and create the quilts for the community's benefit in some shape or form. The group says a gorgeous quilt top was recently donated anonymously to St. Vincent de Paul's. It was then given to the quilters who finished it.

"We're wondering if the person who donated it to St. Vinny's would be interested in seeing the finished product because it's beautiful," said quilter Kathy Clemo. "It's a double wedding ring, that's the name of the pattern. It's a beautiful quilt."

That quilt, along with others, will be on display at the Felch Community Center for a silent auction until December 1.

All the proceeds will be donated to the Zion Preschool at North Dickinson.
