MARQUETTE -- If you're out trick or treating in Marquette this Halloween, there's one house that's certainly worth checking out. 318 Waldo Street is home to the Epper family and some fantastic Halloween decorations.

They began collecting ghastly bits back in 2003, and it's been growing ever since. The whole family helps plan where the decorations go, and they dress up to scare those who dare to enter.

"Obviously you can see we build a great big, giant haunted house for the community to enjoy, and we invite the entire community to come in and view the house, free of charge, of course," said Stephanie Epper, the creator of the Halloween house. "We also dress up, and we have characters play roles to give everybody a Halloween fright."

The Eppers say they also try to reassure the younger trick or treaters that all the decorations are pretend. Trick or treating in Marquette runs Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
