HURLEY, WI -- Residents in Hurley, Wisconsin have a new community resource to use.

The Media Center at Hurley High School now opens their doors to the community.

Over the summer the library was refurbished, with a brand new floor, more computers, and an open layout. Officials thought it would also be a great opportunity to open their new media center for public use.

This gives people an opportunity to use the Internet and do some research, according to officials.

"I think they like the fact that there's no charge, that they can be a part of the school in some way, shape, or form and get to utilize some of the things our students get to use," said director Steve Eder.

The media center is open for public use Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
