Upper Michigan fugitive arrested in Illinois

CALUMET -- An Upper Peninsula woman being sought by police on a parental kidnapping warrant has been arrested.

Christina Gagnon was taken into custody in Bollingbrook, Illinois on a parental kidnapping warrant. The Michigan State Police say that Gagnon was arrested on Saturday, and her son was found in good health.

Police say that family members are travelling to Illinois to get the child. Gagnon is awaiting extradition back to Michigan pending possible charges in Illinois and Wisconsin.
