About 80 people started their holiday with a circuit fitness workout, and they came with donations of hats and gloves

MARQUETTE -- The air was warm inside Marquette's Baraga Gym on Thursday morning, and now, those in need, will be warm this winter.

About 80 people started their Thanksgiving holiday with a circuit fitness workout. The inaugural event was organized by B-Cubed Fitness.

Starting at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, participants worked through 45 different stations. In order to work up a sweat, everyone had to bring hats and mittens that will be donated to the Marquette Women's Center Harbor House.

"We put this together for family, friends, neighbors, and community members to get together on Thanksgiving morning to just have a good time and express our ability to move our bodies, to get a good little workout in before we eat our Thanksgiving dinners," said Brett Conklin of B-Cubed Fitness.

Conklin hopes to make this an annual event.
