Poll: Right-to-Work Protests
The Michigan Legislature is poised to pass right-to-work legislation when it reconvenes tomorrow despite intense protests from unions and their Democratic allies, including President Barack Obama. Gov. Rick Snyder and Republican lawmakers fast-tracked the measure through a lame duck session without any public hearings. It allows workers to benefit from collective bargaining benefits without being required to pay union dues.
