IRON MOUNTAIN -- With prom season approaching, many girls are on a mission to find the perfect dress. The Dickinson County Public Library is helping them out by offering a prom dress swap this weekend.

Saturday is the fourth annual prom dress swap at the library. It is a chance for students to save money during prom season.

By donating a dress, the student received a dress ticket that they can redeem the day of the swap from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Students without a dress are still welcome to come from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be more that just dresses; there will be raffle prizes as well, according to coordinator Amanda Griggs.

"Many area businesses have donated gifts and products to raffle off including hair care, nails, tanning, florists, and restaurants, so we're very lucky," said Griggs.

Along with the dresses and prizes, shoes and jewelery will also be available the day of the swap, and everything is completely free.
