MARQUETTE -- The Superior Dome in Marquette was filled with hundreds of kids on Saturday for the 2013 Kaleidoscope.

The educational fun fair gave kids the opportunity to walk on a mixture of cornstarch and water, swing on a giant pendulum hanging from a 119 foot cable, and race cars down a track.

This year's event brought more than 30 organizations giving kids of all ages something fun to do.

"I did it last year and I remember that so it was fun so I want to do it again," said Ellie Overmyer, attendee.

Some kids chose to make their own kites and once they were finished, they flew them around the Superior Dome while others hopped on a luge and rolled away.

This was the 21st year for the annual event.
