MARQUETTE -- During each annual meeting, the Operation Action Upper Peninsula (OAUP) honors four U.P. businesses with a "Business Excellence Award."

This year's winners are U.P. Home, Health, and Hospice, Delta Manufacturing of Escanaba, the Heritage Wind Farm in Garden, and Aggressive Innovation 500 in Sault Saint Marie.

Each recipient received a trophy and gave a presentation on their products and work strategies.

They were chosen for being on the cutting edge of their fields and for being local, national, and international leaders in business.

"This year, like so many years in the past, we've got a great lineup of businesses to showcase and I look forward to the opportunities to recognize more businesses in the coming years," said OAUP Co-Chair, Brett French.

The OAUP meeting will be held again next January.
