NEGAUNEE -- All 750 students at Lakeview School in Negaunee participated in the 25th annual Friendship Festival. About 20 games were set up in the school's gymnasium, creating a carnival-like atmosphere for the kids.

Students won prizes at each game, one of the most popular being a toilet-paper toss.

"It's a name that was thought of years and years ago because everyone forms friendships here at Lakeview School, and it was just a fun, nice way in the doldrums of the winter," said Lakeview Volunteer Coordinator, Diane Faust. "Just have your friends and come down and play some games."

Each classroom spent 30 minutes having fun at Friday's festival.
