MARQUETTE TWP. -- Shoppers at the Westwood Mall in Marquette Township got a surprise Saturday when a crowd of people spontaneously burst into song.

In what is known as a flash mob, a group of singers from Lake Superior Christian Church gathered near the mall entrance and all joined together in song. One of the many Christmas carols they performed was Silent Night.

Some shoppers continued to their destination, while others stopped to enjoy the show.

A few folks even pulled out their video cameras to capture the moment. After the flash mob ended, the singers all walked away as if it never happened.
