MARQUETTE -- It was a full house at the Kaufman Auditorium as music lovers listened to holiday classics from the Marquette Symphony Orchestra.

The 75 member symphony is made up of college students, community members, and even professional musicians.

"We get together about the week before the concert and we have a couple of revues and with just the strings, local musicians, and also we bring in a few out of town musicians, and we put that together; just really a couple of days before the concert," said Steve Grugin, director of bands.

The holiday concert also offered a couple of familiar faces.

If you missed the performance, you can catch the Marquette Symphony again on February 9, 2013.
