Guilty plea entered in fatal pedestrian crash

MARQUETTE COUNTY -- Richard Jordan, a 51-year-old man from Ely Township, plead guilty on Friday to driving with a revoked or denied license causing death.

Jordan struck 64-year-old Linda Vanginkel with his pickup truck as she crossed the street near the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in Ishpeming in July. She later died of injuries suffered in the crash.

Jordan will be back in Marquette County Circuit Court on January 18 for sentencing.
