IRON COUNTY -- A plea deal for the Iron River man involved in a standoff incident this past summer was entered in Iron County Circuit Court on Monday.

According to deputies from the Iron County Sheriff's Office, 37-year-old Bobby Jo Nordstrom allegedly fired a shotgun while fighting with family members.

He faces a felonious assault charge, one count of felon in possession of a firearm, and one misdemeanor count of possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. Nordstrom could face life in prison if convicted.

He'll be sentenced on January 7.
