MARQUETTE -- Guilty on both counts, that was the verdict in the trial of Brian Chapman Howe, the Marquette County man facing charges stemming from a meth lab explosion at a Gwinn home last December.

It took nearly a day and a half for the jury to reach their decision. Howe was charged with use of a building as a location for the manufacture of meth and conspiracy to use a building as a location to manufacture meth.

Howe will be sentenced September 7 in Marquette County Circuit Court. He could spend more than twenty years in prison.
