Boy is injured after falling down embankment

PRESQUE ISLE, MARQUETTE -- An accident on Presque Isle in Marquette Tuesday afternoon sent a six-year-old boy to the hospital.

Authorities say the six-year-boy was riding his bike with his father on the Presque Isle Road near Sunset Point. That's when a blue and white sport utility vehicle came at them, driving on the wrong side of the road.

The young boy swerved off the road and fell down an embankment. He suffered minor injuries and a cut on the wrist.

Police are looking for that blue and white SUV. If you have any information, please contact the Marquette Police Department at 228-0400.
