CHOCOLAY TWP -- A two-car crash on M-28 sent two people to the hospital Friday.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. near the NMU golf course in Chocolay Township. The driver of an eastbound grey sedan was attempting to turn left into a driveway and was struck by a westbound Cadillac, police said. Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No word yet if any citations will be issued.

Michigan State Police, Chocolay Township Police and Fire, and the Marquette County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene.
