In this tough economy, one of the fields that seems to be handling the financial crisis pretty well is the health care industry. And in the U.P., high school students have the chance to learn about health care careers. It's called the AGES program, or the Area Geriatric Education Scholars. Today all 42 students involved in the program this summer will discuss their experiences with the elderly at NMU in Marquette.
That's my story and I'll have an update coming up.
