As high pressure moves in, we should have calm conditions for the weekend, even if not the sunniest of conditions.

Saturday's highs will struggle to get out of the 30s, though there may be a couple highs in the low 40s in the southern UP. Skies should be overcast to mostly cloudy all day with a slight chance for a lake effect flurry with a light breeze out of the north.

Saturday night will be cooler with lows in the 20s to low 30s. Skies will start to clear a bit to partly cloudy, but most clouds will linger near Lake Superior. Winds will be light out of the north.

On Sunday, highs will be a couple degrees warmer as clouds clear away and we see more sunshine. Skies should be mostly to partly sunny by late afternoon.

Sunday night's lows will fall into mainly the 20s. Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly clear.

Monday will be a tad warmer, but Monday night and Tuesday may see some rain and snow.
