HANCOCK -- A new art exhibit is holding its opening reception at Finlandia University Thursday.  The exhibit titled, "Tell Me a Story," features artwork from students and faculty from Finlandia as well as members of the community. Each piece expresses a story from each artist on various media, including written art.

The exhibit is in the Reflection Gallery at the Jutila Center through February 28.

Natalie House, Director of the Reflection Gallery, says bringing different people's stories together tells the larger story of the community.

"It's beautiful and just being able to see each person's story in their artwork, but also seeing the story of the artist through their artwork, I think it's a really strong show," said House.

The opening reception will be at the Reflection Gallery Thursday afternoon at 12:30 where the artist will be present to discuss their artwork.
