BARAGA -- Students from Baraga Area Schools are having a talent show to raise money for the music department.  It's the first year the talent show is being held.

The talent show, put on by music boosters, a new organization supporting the music department, has more than 10 acts that will take stage.

"I'm looking forward to it.  It'll certainly be a different way of raising money. Hopefully it will be successful, and I'd really like to continue in the future. I know the students really enjoy preparing their acts and they've been putting a lot of time in to it," said music teacher, Emily Mayer.

The talent show will be held at Baraga Area Schools and tickets for adults are five dollars and students are two dollars.
