MARQUETTE -- Wednesday's annual (re)Design Fashion Show put local designers' talents on the runway. The show featured upcycled fashion designs. Clothing for all ages made from used materials was modeled. The show is also a major fundraiser for the Marquette Regional History Center.

"It brings together all sorts of upcycled designers and artists, hoping to be the largest in the Upper Peninsula, to show what you can do with found objects, pieces of clothing that you might ordinarily just toss away," said organizer Cris Osier.

Following the show, the designers participated in a question and answer session. The audience also got a chance to vote for their favorite designer.
