Meth bust results in three arrests

IRONWOOD -- Officials from the Ironwood Department of Public Safety say that an active meth lab was discovered during the execution of a search warrant on early Tuesday morning.

According to police, three people were arrested as a result of the meth lab discovery on Florence St. at 1:30 a.m. Authorities evacuated surrounding residences for safety as the meth lab was dealt with.

The arrested individuals are currently being held in the Gogebic County Jail, awaiting arraignment. Police say they are facing charges including manufacturing meth and maintaining a drug house.
