MARQUETTE -- Two men from Occupy the U.P. protested in front of the post office in Marquette against drone strikes by the United States.

With a sign reading "When drones fly, innocent die," Wade Jackson and John Taylor say drone strikes are killing innocent people overseas.

They are also concerned drones could be used against U.S. citizens before they have the right to a fair trial.

The Obama administration says drone strikes are legal and are used to defend the United States against terrorists.

Congress allowed the usage of drones after the September 11 attacks.

Friday, a federal appeals court ruled the military must acknowledge the existance of any drone attacks and strikes against specific individuals.
