HOUGHTON -- Residents of the Heritage Manor in Houghton are able to officially move back into their apartments Saturday.

The manor suffered severe damage when a fire engulfed the upper floors of the building last August.

Forty-one residents had to be moved out of their homes and be relocated.

The fire reportedly occurred near an electrical outlet in an apartment on the fifth floor. However, the actual cause is unknown.

Renovations began in September. Residents will be able to move into their apartments Saturday morning at 10.
