BARAGA -- A Baraga man has been sentenced to six and a half years in federal prison for sexual abuse of a minor.  Brian Paul Loonsfoot, 31, pled guilty to having sexual relations with a 12-year-old girl who was a close friend of the family.

The acts occurred in Green Bay and on the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community reservation.

Loonsfoot was also prosecuted in Wisconsin and is serving a seven year sentence for sexual abuse of the same victim.  When he is released in Wisconsin, he will begin serving his six and a half year federal prison sentence.
